Follow the five stages below. Jump to Controls or Tricks when you need detail.
5 stages
Progression route
01
Control
Practice movement, turning, jumping and landing until a short line finishes without repeated bails.
02
Basic line
Connect a trick with a Manual, Grind, Revert, or the next ramp. Recover from a missed action.
03
Explore
Use Fast Travel to visit Mega Park, Mega Bowl, or a street spot that fits the trick you want.
04
Protect practice
Place a Marker near the hard section so a Reset does not cost a long walk back.
05
Compete
Queue a Spot Battle only after you can hold a reliable line without one risky trick.
Your first session checklist
| Task | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Learn movement, turning, jumping and landing | Everything else builds on a predictable board and a clean touchdown. |
| Land one short trick line without bailing twice in a row | Confirms your foundation before you chase Coins or Spot Battle. |
| Earn a few Coins from landed tricks, then open the Shop | Coins are what the Shop actually takes — Points come later from battles. |
| Place a Marker before a hard section | Resetting without a Marker wastes practice time walking back. |
Coins, Points and the Shop
Coins come from landed tricks and buy board skins and boards in the Shop. Points accumulate during skating activities such as Spot Battle. Full prices and formulas are not publicly listed.

Common beginner mistakes
| Mistake | Fix |
|---|---|
| Bailing on landing because the rotation is unfinished | Finish the flip or spin before touchdown; then add speed. |
| Skipping Manual practice | Manual links tricks into lines — learn it before Spot Battle. |
| Queuing Spot Battle before a reliable line | Build a line you can repeat, then compete. |
